Mario DiCioccio is an executive coach and organizational consultant in private practice,  adjunct faculty in the Masters in Organizational Development and Leadership program at St. Joseph’s University and a consulting executive coach to both the Wharton Executive Coaching and Feedback Program and Penn State University’s Executive MBA Program.Mario Preferred 2_3

Previously Mario was an executive at Merck & Co., Inc., a management consultant at Peat Marwick (now KPMG) and a part-time lecturer and communication coach at the Wharton School.

Through his coaching practice, Mario works with business leaders who want to be more effective, advance as leaders, feel more satisfied in their careers or have a sounding board for big decisions.  His focus areas include leadership development,  skills development, management communications, decision making and work-life balance.   Mario has coached leaders in large and small organizations including: Merck, Pfizer,  The Hartford, Deloitte, PJM Interconnection and The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.

Mario’s approach integrates his leadership and coaching skills to catalyze change in his clients.  In his one-on-one engagements he focuses on balancing proven methods and models for long-term development with the richness of experience and choice inherent in each moment.  A sample of his experiential programs for groups includes:  The Leadership Development Forum aimed at increasing the leadership competencies of its participants; Engaging for Effectiveness aimed at transforming leaders into coaching-leaders; and  Claiming Your Life aimed at helping participants identify their personal goals and finding the motivation and resources to realize them.

Mario earned his Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential from the International Coach Federation and his Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) credential from the Coaches Training Institute where he trained.   Mario is also a graduate of the 3-year Gestalt therapy training  program offered by the Gestalt Therapy Institute of Philadelphia.  He holds an MBA from Temple University and a B.S. in Mathematics from St. Joseph’s University.   Mario is a member of the International Coach Federation, the Greater Philadelphia Senior Executives Group and the Philadelphia Society of People and Strategy.
